Parmesan Maushroom Rice


Parmesan Mushroom Rice


Ingredients

2 spoons oil / butter
1 cup chopped mushroom
1 clove garlic minced
1 small onion chopped
1 cup washed clean basmati rice
1 and half cup of vegetable broth
salt- pepper
1/3 cup parmesan cheese "grated"



Melt butter /oil  in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook mushrooms, garlic and onion until mushrooms are cooked and liquid has evaporated. Stir in vegetable broth and rice. Season with parsley, salt and pepper. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the rice before serving .
